Drawing inspiration from the worldwide pandemic, D’Arcy uses anime style to depict scenes of uncertainty and frustration. Alluring bold and neon colour acrylics are layered in two dimensional shapes onto canvas, to create an almost playful representation of serious overt emotions demonstrated by a central figure - usually animal or human.
